Exciting News: I'm Launching Something New
Introducing: Dinner, Handled
I've been working on something new, and I'm finally ready to tell you about it.
It's called Dinner, Handled.
If you've followed Erren's Kitchen for a while, don't worry, it's not replacing anything. Erren's Kitchen is still my home for the recipes you've always known me for.
But lately, I've noticed something.
The challenge isn't always finding a good recipe.
The challenge is finding one that fits real life.
The older I get, the busier life seems to become. Between work, family, and everything else competing for attention, I don't always want to spend an hour cooking dinner.
I still want good food.
I still want something homemade.
I just don't want dinner to feel like another job.
Over the last year or so, I've found myself cooking differently. I've been leaning into one-pan meals, smart shortcuts, make-ahead ingredients, and recipes that get dinner on the table without turning the kitchen upside down.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just changing the recipes I made. I was changing the way I thought about dinner.
And it was working.
So I thought, why not share it?
That's where Dinner, Handled comes in.
This isn't about cutting corners or settling for mediocre meals. It's about cooking smarter. It's about finding shortcuts that actually earn their place. It's about making dinner feel more doable on the nights when you're tired, busy, overwhelmed, or just not in the mood to spend all evening in the kitchen.
Over the next two days, I'll be sharing the first Dinner, Handled recipes, and I'd love to show you what this new project is all about.
In fact, I've already shared the first couple of Dinner, Handled recipes if you'd like to take a look. They're a pretty good example of what this new project is all about.
I have a feeling some of you are going to see your own weeknights in these recipes.
And honestly, I think that's exactly why this project feels so exciting to me.
I'm glad you're here.
